Mentorship Development Program

This 8-year-strong program is built around a fundamental belief that by providing meaningful interactions and opportunities of building relationships between community role models and young people, we are providing avenues that engage in crime prevention, attitudinal change, asset development in youth, and community building. Learn more.

Canim Lake First Nation Integrated Leadership Program

Educo Canada and Canim Lake (Tsq'escen) Band work together to introduce more Canim Lake youth to their traditional heritage, and support the development of leadership and mentorship in their communities. Learn more.

Turn Masculinity Inside Out

Turn Masculinity Inside Out (TMIO) is a multi-organization project lead by School District No 27 and Educo Canada to challenge unhealthy stereotypes of masculinity. The program is offered as a one-day workshop to all grade 7's in the South Cariboo. The 2010 and 2012 TMIO workshops were developed and run by Stuart Clark and David Hatfield.

South Cariboo Community Planning Council

Educo is an active member of the South Cariboo Community Planning Council (SCCPC) and collaborates with local organizations and service providers to support youth empowerment and leadership development in the region.

South Cariboo Cafes

Educo Facilitators Dave MacLeod and Stuart Clark supported the development and hosting of the South Cariboo Community Cafes, a series of community development forums that utilized that blended World Cafe, Open Space and Educo faciltation techniques. Learn More.

Asset Building and Methamphetamine Response

Educo Canada was the lead agency for the South Cariboo Methamphetamine Response Program from 2006-2007, a health promotion program that used theatre, education and local research to build resiliency against the dangers of methamphetamine and other drugs. Learn more.
